My Methodology
In my design process, I use design thinking to solve problems creatively and effectively.
Empathize
It starts with empathizing, where I dive deep into understanding the users and their needs through observation and interaction. I aim to feel what they feel and identify their main challenges.
Define
Then comes the define stage. Here, I take all those insights and clearly articulate the problem we’re addressing. This focused problem statement really guides everything moving forward.
Ideate
Next, it’s all about ideation. I brainstorm a ton of ideas, thinking outside the box to explore as many possibilities as possible. It’s a really creative phase where I let my imagination run free.
Prototype
Prototyping follows, where I create scaled-down versions of solutions. This hands-on approach lets me see what works and what doesn’t, quickly and effectively.
Test
Testing these prototypes with real users is crucial. I gather feedback, see how well the solutions meet user needs, and refine everything accordingly. It’s usually multiple rounds of testing and tweaking.
Implement
Finally, there’s implementation, where the refined solution is put into action. It’s all about making sure the design integrates seamlessly into the real-world environment.
Throughout all these stages, design thinking keeps me in a loop of feedback and iteration, ensuring the final solution is not only innovative but truly user-friendly. It empowers me to approach challenges with a fresh perspective, emphasizing creativity and empathy in every step.
About
A short description of myself

Hi, I’m Christy 👋
Thanks for stopping by. I’m currently Design Director at Patient21 SE, located in the heart of Berlin. As an end-to-end designer, I thrive on solving challenging problems and thoroughly enjoy connecting with people who have different perspectives. My approach always starts with in-depth user research and brainstorming potential solutions. Teamwork and collaboration are my keys to success.
Previously, I served as a Senior UX Designer at Patient21 SE and Advico GmbH, among others. Before diving into enterprise design, I embraced the digital nomad lifestyle, traveling between Milan, Germany, and Greece as a freelance designer and photographer.
While in Berlin, I earned my Master’s degree in Communication Design from HMKW University, which sparked my interest in UX design. I’m perpetually eager to grow and learn new things. I often lose track of time when swimming around sunny islands, exercising with Kangoo jumps, cooking, or playing with my daughter.
Currently, I’m open to new job opportunities. Please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to chat about work or share opinions on various design topics.
